Ty Dumm had a huge night as Northern Cambria tripped up United, 62-52. Dumm poured in 28 points and teammate Caleb Dolney added 10 for the Colts. Isaac Worthington had 15 and Conner Darr 11 for the Lions.
Marion Center got by West Shamokin, 45-40.
Penns Manor edged Purchase Line, 49-43.
In a matchup of conference unbeatens, Conemaugh Township beat Conemaugh Valley, 70-65.
Portage dropped Cambria Heights, 59-44.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Penns Manor crushed Ferndale in a nonconference game, 64-21. Sarah Stiteler and Alyssa Altemus both had double-doubles. Stiteler had 23 points and 10 rebounds. Altemus scored 15 with 13 rebounds.
WRESTLING
Indiana wrestling topped Forest Hills last night, 39-28 win. Winners for the Indians were Rowan Grantz, Nico Fanella, Carter Putt, Jacob Snyder, Graham McFarlane, Will Turner, Jackson Higgins, Carson Beatty, and Sean Parks.
Indiana is 3-1, 1-0 in their Section and will wrestle at Derry tonight.
RIFLE
Indiana Rifle lost to Trinity, 797-56x to 772-30x. Top shooter for Indiana was Ethan Coleman with a 100-5x.
Indiana’s next official match will be January 3rd at home against Plum, but they will shoot against a team of Indiana alumni on December 29th at 5 PM. All Rifle alumni are welcome.
