BASKETBALL
Indiana High’s girls will learn their first-round playoff opponent later today when the WPIAL announces its playoff brackets for girls’ and boys’ basketball.
Congrats to the Homer-Center boys Junior High basketball teams, which finished a combined 34-4 this season. That includes a 17-4 campaign for the Jr. High Varsity, which ended with an 8-game winning streak and also won the Purchase Line Invitational Tournament.
The Junior High JV finished 17-0.
The Varsity team will travel to State College next month for the Pennsylvania State Championship Tournament.
BASEBALL
Homer-Center’s Caleb Palmer has signed his letter of intent to play college baseball for Mount Aloysius. He’s a football, basketball, and baseball player for the Wildcats.
