The Big Balloon Build opened Thursday night at S&T Bank Arena to help kick off the holiday season.

After the ribbon cutting at 4:00 PM, a VIP event was held before the public was invited in at 7:00. Campaign Chair Clinton Smith said that people have been impressed with the work of the sculptors who came to Indiana from all over the world.

The display will also be from 8 AM to 10 PM Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday from 10-4 and 7-9 PM, with a special 21 and up private event from 5-7 on Sunday. A balloon popping party will be held Monday afternoon.
