Rick Wakeman, the former keyboardist of Yes, is revealing that he recently underwent brain surgery to treat a neurological disorder.
Earlier this year, the musician postponed the final leg of his solo tour and rescheduled several dates for March 2026. In an update on his official website, Wakeman revealed that he was diagnosed with “normal pressure hydrocephalus” and had corrective brain surgery last week. He said the procedure was successful and he’s now recuperating at home. While he has to take things easy for now, his doctor told him he’s “perfectly fine” to travel to America for his tour in March. Wakeman’s 2026 U.S. tour dates begin on March 11th in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
