Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose” is joining Spotify’s Billion Club.
The track from the 1984 Kevin Bacon film has surpassed one-billion streams on the platform, making it Loggins’ entry into the club. The musician says “one billion streams for “Footloose” is almost unimaginable.” He adds “I’m grateful my work still resonated with so many people.”
“Footloose” was Loggins’ first number one hit, spending three weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
