Wayne Moss, a Nashville-based session musician, is dead.
In a statement confirming his death, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame Kyle Young said the Wayne was a “musical torchbearer and creative pathfinder who left his own resounding stamp on music history.” The musician had worked in sessions with people like PatsyCline, Waylona Jennings, Loretta Lynn and more. He appeared on a number of successful songs through the ’60s and ’70s, including “Oh Pretty Woman” by Roy Osbrison, and bob Dylan’s 1996 album “Blonde on Blonde.”
Wayne was 88-years-old.
