Morrisey is claiming that the British Broadcast Corporation is blacklisting his single “Notre-Dame.”
In a post on Morrissey Central titled “Diversity is a Lie,” the singer said the “public wants to hear the song, but the BBC will not play it even though their stations are a public service duty-bound to reflect public taste.” He added that because his song isn’t played on the radio, any station that “pledges allegiance to diversity is lying.” Morrissey went on to say “when people say ‘Diversity is our strength’ they fail to mention their notion of diversity entails very strict Third Reich regulations and puishments.”
“Notre Dame” appeared on the artist’s latest album “Make-up Is a Lie.”
