Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward is getting candid in an open letter on his social media accounts.
The musician began by saying “I’m announcing today somewhat sadly but nonetheless truthfully, that I’ve reached a place where publicly more and more I need to use a wheelchair.” He reassured fans that he’s still able to walk, however, he need to rest more frequently. Ward added “I’m just saying if you see me in a wheelchair, I’m just catching a ride.” He wrapped up his statement by saying “much love to you all and I’ll keep rocking until I’m dead.”
Ward returned to the stage last year for Black Sabbath’s final show at the “Back to the Beginning” concert.
