Justin Vernon returned to the stage Friday in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with a full set of cover songs at the Eaux Claires Festival.
Performing under the name “Bon Dylan,” Vernon, the frontman of Bon Iver, played more than a dozen songs by the legendary singer-songwriter. Vernon also surprised fans with his first full Bon Iver performance since 2023.
The unannounced set replaced a scheduled appearance by Kevin Morby after the singer dropped out of the festival.
